Developing leaders

Leadership Forums are training sessions for youth leaders, focused on a particular area of leadership or discipleship. These days are bi-annual (Spring and Fall), in three different cities throughout the Western Ontario District. They are designed to be practical and interactive.

Forums are created for youth pastors primarily.  If you wish to bring an intern, please let us know. These days are not designed for your leadership team.

All forums run from 10:00am - 2:00pm (unless otherwise noted below), and lunch is included. Cost is free. Book your calendars now for the upcoming forums!

TOPIC: Ministering In A Post-Christian Culture

Society and culture are always changing, creating new challenges, and opportunities to impact the next generation with the timeless message of Jesus. What does it mean to lead Children/Family/Student Ministries in what is often termed a "Post-Christian culture"?

Our guest speaker, Bill Markham, will lead us in a time of interactive learning together on how this impacts us as leaders with those we minister to, as well as within our churches and communities. There will be a practical focus on the need for courageous leadership, recognizing and accepting what perhaps will no longer work in this Post-Christian culture, while exploring together what can better connect with today’s culture.
