Leadership Forums are training sessions for youth leaders, focused on a particular area of leadership or discipleship. These days are bi-annual (Spring and Fall), in three different cities throughout the Western Ontario District. They are designed to be practical and interactive.
Forums are created for youth pastors primarily. If you wish to bring an intern, please let us know. These days are not designed for your leadership team.
All forums run from 10:00am - 2:00pm (unless otherwise noted below), and lunch is included. Cost is free. Book your calendars now for the upcoming forums!
DO I NEED TO RSVP? No, you do not have to RSVP to reserve your spot at a forum.
DO I HAVE TO GO TO THE LOCATION THAT IS CLOSEST TO MY CHURCH? No, you do not have to go to the forum that is located closest to your church. If another forum date works better for you, you are welcome to attend that forum instead.
CAN I BRING MY INTERN(S)? Forums are created for youth pastors primarily. If you wish to bring an intern, you must first get permission from Mark Colwell. These days are not designed for your leadership team.
CAN I BRING A FRIEND IN MINISTRY WHO IS NOT FROM A PAOC CHURCH? Absolutely! Pastors from other denominations are welcome.
DO YOU ACCOMMODATE SPECIAL DIETARY REQUESTS? Unfortunately, we are unable to care for special dietary requests at the forums. You are welcome to bring your own lunch.
WHAT IS THE FORMAT OF THE FORUMS? Forums include teaching on a specific leadership topic. They are highly interactive sessions that can include Q&A, group discussion, personal reflection, or even games.
