WHAT IS MOMENTUM?
Momentum Junior High Convention is a conference designed specifically for junior highs! It is a high energy event with a focus on leading students into a deeper relationship with Christ through worship and biblical teaching. The weekend is full of team games and fun activities for them to participate in.
WHO IS MOMENTUM FOR?
The age guidelines for participation in MOMENTUM (Junior High Convention) should be defined by the junior high ministry at your church. However, the focus of this event will be for students in grades 5 - 9, therefore we ask that you do not bring students outside this parameter.
Mark Evans & his wife Lauren are Campus Pastors of an Influencers Church in Atlanta, USA. Mark’s other passion is music and he leads the Influencers Music teams across all campuses globally. Mark passionately preaches Jesus in a creative and unforgettable way and is driven by the desire to disciple and raise leaders. Mark & Lauren have a 15 month old baby boy, Judah Brave.
Mike has come from a background in ministry from a very young age . He and his wife Nicole have been in church leadership for many years (youth and music) and have a passion to see young lives changed through Christ. The biggest joy in their lives are their family especially their baby boy Judah!
Above all else, Mike and Nicole hope and pray that young lives would be changed and will come to know who Jesus is to the fullest, and serve Him forever.

REGISTRATION CHECK IN
The Youth Leader will register his/her group between 6:00 - 7:00 pm. The Youth Leader will receive an envelope including wristbands (must be worn all weekend to be involved) and schedules for the leaders. Onsite registration will also be available at this time.
Upon returning to the hotel Friday, students should not be moving from room to room. Please provide proper leadership to your students while in the hotel. The hotel staff has authority regarding hotel dismissal of any undisciplined guests, specifically those causing disturbance at night while other guests are at the hotel. If there is a complaint, the youth pastor / leader will be responsible for disciplinary action. Please help us to be a good example to the hotel staff and guests.
First aid will be available throughout the weekend from St. John Ambulance. In case of injury, pastors are responsible for their youth regarding hospital transportation, medication, etc. Please have student health info and emergency contact info on hand at the event.
FRIDAY: Pizza can be ordered and paid for in advance (by November 1) for after the service on Friday night. Please make sure to fill out the online form when you register (large pepperoni or cheese pizzas, 10 slices, $12 per pizza). Groups will be permitted to eat their pizza only in the gym or foyer areas, and will be expected to clean up after themselves completely.
A breakfast will be available at some hotels. Please take note of the accommodations section for details. Lunch is not included in the registration cost for the event.
New lunch options this year! Food trucks will be onsite selling hotdogs, hamburgers, fries and more!
NOTE: For Saturday lunch, there will be limited space available inside the venue for groups to eat. Space will be available outside in the parking lot only, regardless of weather.
There will be a tuck shop open throughout the weekend at the church with small snacks, treats, and drinks. No food or drinks (other than water) will be permitted inside the sanctuary.
Please encourage your youth to give generously. We will be taking up an offering to sponsor needy children across the globe through Child Care Plus.
LOST & FOUND
Youth Ministries and Bethel are not responsible for lost or stolen items at the hotels or church. Chaperones should look through hotel rooms prior to check-out.
Ideally, chaperones should be at least 19 years of age. Please invite only those people who out of relationship you trust to chaperone your youth. Be cautious to ask those in whom you are confident to be effective prayer warriors and mentors for your kids to model. We recommend that all chaperones are screened and go through abuse prevention training. To monitor the moving around that tends to happen during services, chaperones are asked to sit with their group in the sanctuary to provide adequate supervision. Please ensure that chaperones disconnect/monitor tv viewing, especially late night tv. If your church is unable to send an adequate number of chaperones, you might consider contacting another pastor to assist you.

Friday Night Pizza - $12 per pizza
Large Cheese or Pepperoni - 10 slices
Pizza orders must be made before the registration closing date (Nov 1). Onsite orders will not be accepted. Pizza will be delivered after the Friday night General Session and you may pick it up in the foyer.
Leaders (including youth pastors) must be registered as well. HST is included in the prices listed above.
HOW TO REGISTER
Online registration is the preferred method for Momentum. It is both secure, and immediate. If you are unable to register online, please contact us.

If you are paying by cheque, you will have 10 business days to have payment at our office. After that point, you will lose the tickets you have reserved.
Cheque payment will only be available online for the early bird registration rate. It will not be available for the regular registration rate.
WHAT DOES REGISTRATION INCLUDE?
Registration includes participation in all activities. Students cannot register or attend this event without adult chaperones. One-service, or one-day registrations are not available. There are no public services; everyone must be registered, including leaders.
All registrations are NON-REFUNDABLE.
