REGISTRATION CHECK IN
The Youth Leader will register his/her group between 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. The Youth Leader will receive an envelope including wristbands (must be worn all weekend to be involved) and schedules for the leaders. Onsite registration will also be available at this time.
Upon returning to the hotel Friday, students should not be moving from room to room. Please provide proper leadership to your students while in the hotel. The hotel staff has authority regarding hotel dismissal of any undisciplined guests, specifically those causing disturbance at night while other guests are at the hotel. If there is a complaint, the youth pastor / leader will be responsible for disciplinary action. Please help us to be a good example to the hotel staff and guests.
First aid will be available throughout the weekend from St. John Ambulance. In case of injury, pastors are responsible for their youth regarding hospital transportation, medication, etc. Please have student health info and emergency contact info on hand at the event.
FRIDAY: Pizza can be ordered and paid for in advance (by October 20) for after the service on Friday night. Please make sure to fill out the online form when you register (large pepperoni or cheese pizzas, 10 slices, $12 per pizza). Groups will be permitted to eat their pizza only in the gym or foyer areas, and will be expected to clean up after themselves completely.
A breakfast will be available at some hotels. Please take note of the accommodations section for details. Lunch is not included in the registration cost for the event.
Food trucks will again be onsite selling hotdogs, hamburgers, fries and more!
NOTE: For Saturday lunch, there will be limited space available inside the venue for groups to eat. Space will be available outside in the parking lot only, regardless of weather.
There will be a tuck shop open throughout the weekend at the church with small snacks, treats, and drinks. No food or drinks (other than water) will be permitted inside the sanctuary.
Please encourage your youth to give generously. We will be taking up an offering to sponsor needy children across the globe through Child Care Plus.
LOST & FOUND
Youth Ministries and the venue are not responsible for lost or stolen items at the hotels or church. Chaperones should look through hotel rooms prior to check-out.
Ideally, chaperones should be at least 19 years of age. Please invite only those people who out of relationship you trust to chaperone your youth. Be cautious to ask those in whom you are confident to be effective prayer warriors and mentors for your kids to model. We recommend that all chaperones are screened and go through abuse prevention training. To monitor the moving around that tends to happen during services, chaperones are asked to sit with their group in the sanctuary to provide adequate supervision. Please ensure that chaperones disconnect/monitor tv viewing, especially late night tv. If your church is unable to send an adequate number of chaperones, you might consider contacting another pastor to assist you.
