WHAT TIME OUT IS ALL ABOUT?
We hope you are able to join us for Time Out 2018! Time Out is a valuable retreat that provides a time of refreshing for young pastors in ministry. At this conference we aim to provide ministry for the minister in both a personal and practical way, including spiritually refreshing sessions for all who attend. It is a chance to relax with your family, get poured into with worship, the Word and ministry times, and meet with old and new friends. Our hope is that you will leave refreshed, connected, challenged and refocused.
WHO IS TIME OUT FOR?
Time Out (YOUNG PASTORS) is for young pastors in ministry under the age of 40 including assistant or associate pastors, lead pastors, campus pastors, church planters or outreach pastors, as well as worship or creative arts pastors. Sessions will be directed to people in ministry who are in their twenties and thirties. Time Out is also for the pastor’s spouse and children! Unfortunately due to limited space, interns and bible college students are unable to register.
TIME OUT is a closed event. Only those who have registered will have access to the Time Out sessions, Kids Program, water park passes, meal packages, and hotel rates outlined here.
MATT TAPLEY (Speaker)
Matt Tapley has been the Lead Pastor of Lakemount Worship Centre in Grimsby, Ontario since 2008. He is a gifted leader who serves the Church by developing leaders in a culture of dependence on the Spirit with full devotion to the unchanging Word of God. He frequently travels the nation as an insightful preacher, anointed worship leader and a keen contributor to leadership team environments. Matt’s commitment to the Manifest Presence of God and the healing gifts of the Holy Spirit are a catalyst for stirring renewed faith for the “more” of God wherever he ministers.
TIM DAY (Speaker)
Tim Day is the Executive Director of City Movement. City Movement is a new ministry helping business leaders, parachurch ministries and churches work together for to advance the gospel in their city. For the last 15 years, Tim was Senior Pastor of The Meeting House, a multi-city church in central Ontario. He is also the author of God Enters Stage Left, a creative retelling of God's story. Tim is married to Liz and has three children, Nathan, Rachel and Josh. He enjoys basketball, distance running and writing.
ANGELA MERCER (Worship)
Angela and Blair have been serving side by side in ministry together for 18 years. They currently live in Komoka, a cute little town outside of London where they serve as campus pastors at Gateway Church. Their heart is for people to really grasp how loved they are by a God who is not distant or angry but is close and in love with His children. As a couple, they just recently survived a DIY kitchen reno and feel pretty satisfied that one of them didn't move out. Other than that, they love spending time with their fun loving teenagers Isaac and Michaela.
